Instructions:
Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the sugar and yeast with the Coca Cola. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry: Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour in the yeast mixture and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if sticky.
First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour (or until doubled in size).
Shape and Second Rise: Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased bread pan. Cover and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the bread for 35 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
