Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Butter a cake mold or gratin dish.
Arrange the apple slices harmoniously on the bottom of the mold, forming a beautiful rose.
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Add the eggs one by one while beating, then incorporate the melted butter and milk little by little to obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Pour this batter over the apples in the mold, making sure to cover them well.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the flan is golden and firm to the touch.
Let it cool before sprinkling with powdered sugar and serving hot or cold.
