These quick maple bars are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast treat. Made with refrigerated biscuits and a simple maple glaze, they’re a perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth.

For the Bars:

Buttermilk Style Biscuits (refrigerated dough) 1 (16-ounce) tube
Vegetable oil (for frying) 3 cups
For the Maple Glaze:

Light brown sugar, packed ¾ cup
Salted butter 5 tablespoons
Milk 4 tablespoons
Light corn syrup 1 ½ tablespoons
Maple extract 1 tablespoon
Confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar) 1 ¾ cups
Instructions:
Prepare the Biscuits:
Open the tube of biscuits and separate them.
Roll out each biscuit into a rectangular shape.
Heat the Oil:
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Biscuits:
Fry the flattened biscuits in the hot oil for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
