Savour Your Own Handcrafted Soap:
To begin, place the lemon peels and cold water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for around 5 minutes to let the water soak up the invigorating aroma of lemon.
The glycerin soap bars should be grated into a fine zest at the same time. In the next phases, they will melt more readily because of this.
After the water boils, take the lemon peels out. While swirling constantly, reduce heat and gradually incorporate the grated soap. It may take a while for the soap to completely melt and mix with the water, so be patient.
When the soap has melted, which should take about 20 minutes, add the soap powder and stir until fully dissolved.
Add the sugar a little at a time while stirring constantly to combine.
Add the vinegar and alcohol to the mixture at this point. At this stage, you may feel free to include some color—yellow or green would go well with the zesty lemon motif.
Once the liquid is no longer hot, gently transfer it to a soap mold or other appropriate container. Soap may be cut and molded after about 6 hours of solidifying.
Please wait around 5 days for the soap to cure before using it. This makes sure the soap has completely solidified and is ready to be used.
